Blogspot officially hates me. After weeks of trying, it still isn't letting me post pics... So here are some words that have struck my fancy lately:

vernacular- native or indigenous

tantamount- equivalent

neurasthenia- nervous exhaustion

verisimilitude- semblance of truth

mnemonic- something intended to help you remember (this kills me cuz I never remember that it starts with a M!)

ardour- fervour

vex- to annoy

minotaur- any person or thing that devours or destroys

barb- an obviously or openly unpleasant or carping remark

paladin- any determined advocate or defender of a noble cause

tryst- an appointment
